All students learn how to read music, understand music theory, and are given many opportunities to play in recitals and showcases. Students also focus on technique so that they not only interpret the music, but are able to play with beauty and mastery. Students primarily focus on classical repertoire and technique. However, students are also given the opportunity to participate in showcases where they can play with contemporary ensembles and bands.
