Brass Lessons in Westfield, NJ

Valencia School of Music offers one on one brass lessons.  Students are taught techniques including correct embouchure, breath retention and management, developing range, and more.  Students also cover reading music, scale-based exercises, and reinforcement of school band repertoire.  Many students are also given the tools to prepare for school, regional, and state band auditions.

Many brass students find that in addition to playing their orchestral and band music, they like the opportunity to play more contemporary.  Brass students have enjoyed playing a number of contemporary songs by artists like Stevie Wonder, My Chemical Romance, Muse, and more.  Students in brass lessons also have the opportunity to play jazz at many different levels.
